The Art of Shaving Lavender After-Shave Balm, 1 Oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oil was a nice smooth start to the shaving process. Only need to use a small amount. As far as the oil making the hairs softer prior to shaving I didn't see too big of a difference. But it does enhance the shaving experience.

Many of the other oils are masculine and smell great but this scent is really loved by people who are around you. Lavender oil also relievs tension and promotes circulation. I really feel many benefits from this. Wish it came in a larger size!

The product works. Many people think the purpose is to provide a nice smell... The actual purpose is to prevent razor burn from the razor pulling the stubble instead of cutting. The pre shave oil helps prevent that and actually works well. I didn't give 5 stars because the oils are so expensive and don't last long even if applied sparingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having never done a pre shave oil or anything before this kit I was surprised about a) how good my face felt and b) how it really seemed to make the hairs that much more pliable to shave when the shaving time took place. I am now a total believer in the pre shave routine.
