Turtle Sandbox 33rd Anniversary - Sandbox - 149.9 lbs - 1 gal

My sons played with an earlier version of this sandbox in the early 1980s. Now my granddaughter is having just as much fun with her new sandbox. The water trough is a new feature for us. So far we've just been using it as an overflow space for the sand. When she gets a little older, we'll probably start using the trough for her little boats. You can't go wrong with this product.

Sandbox said 150 lbs of sand but bags came .5 cu ft. After checking with several people bought 7 bags , we only needed a little over 2 and they didn't weigh near 50 lbs each. Grandkids loved this sandbox, even the older ones were playing

it is a nice sand box with place for water...my daughter loves it. It is smaller than I wanted but it is working for us. It is a quiter tutle version....

The water ring is a neat idea, but the stopper leaks a bit. I bought this for my daughter and would say it's smaller than the one my brothers had when they were little. I also wonder why Little Tikes didn't bother to match the lid color to the base. Still, my little girl enjoys it.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew and he loved it. I liked the fact that they can play with sand or water with out worry of incident. The sandbox part is a little small and would not accomodate more than one child at a time. The plastic seems to be a little thinner than the original. But all in all he was so very happy setting on the lil made in seat and playing in the sand and water.
