They are better than any name brand fruit snack. The texture is perfect, (firm, but not too hard), but it's the flavor that shines through most. The flavor of each comes through better than most fruit snacks on the market. I do wish they would bring back the large resealable bag, though. That was a perfect way to grab three or four at a time without having to open a new pouch or have unnecessary trash to throw away.

I am a big fan of fruit snacks: their flavor, texture, quantity. In this type of fruit snack, my favorite flavor is Lemon, followed by Orange. My least favorite are grape, followed by whatever the red flavor is. My issue with these snacks is the fact that any given bag will be roughly half grape, a quarter red, and the remaining orange, with maybe 1 or 2 lemon, sometimes none. I don't know who decided that grape should be the majority of the pack, but I don't think I will be purchasing this product anymore, based on the fact that for a "variety" there isn't much more than grape and red flavors. Never have I gotten a package with more lemons than grape, and I've gone through a few hundred packs, so I think that's saying something.
