I like my breakfast to be sugar-free and I'm a creature of habit. These are delicious. I sometimes like to add bananas, but I'm feeling funky. It's always a good go to for me
I hate to say it, but classic cheerios are not as good as they once were. I've been eating these since childhood and the most recent batches are somehow just…off? They lack their distinct neutral “oatiness” and just taste like cardboard. They also are no longer crunchy, just kind of mushy even before adding milk. Really sad about this. Why mess with perfection?
What exactly did Cheerios change? I have eaten them for years, but no longer will buy them. They get mushy fast and have lost their taste. It is also alarming that one other reviewer indicated they have chlormequat. Switching to Oatmeal, which I have read that both Steel and Rolled Oats are not considered "processed"like Cheerios are. So sad to break up with you Cheerios!
A once good product goes down the tubes. Cheerios used to be the best breakfast cereal bar none. They do not taste as good as they once did. It seems recently many of the main stay products in the store seems to have lost their quality recipes. Instead of putting out all these crazy weird flavor versions, they need to keep their main product tasting and texture the exact same as it was originally made. If I wanted to eat peanut butter or fruity flavors I would go for a peanut butter sandwich or a cereal that is made to be fruity like fruit loops. I can no longer eat them as I do not enjoy them since the change of taste and texture not up to par.
I have eaten Cheerios for over 50 years every day!! In the past couple of years, you have changed the shape during the Spring (I believe) to include a heart-shaped Cheerio. Every time this happens, the box contains many, many more broken pieces. I have even gotten to the point where I will buy another product during this period and have been very unsatisfied. PLEASE refrain from changing the shape of the cereal from "O's" to "hearts"!!
