Adhesive on the one half of the latch was not strong enough to stick onto any surface. Other side was perfectly fine, and stuck incredibly well.

Its very easy to install and very effective. Its make my daughter to stay away from the fridge door. This is the first time I use this kind of product so I have no comparison but i really happy that i use this product. It does serve its purpose. I wonder if it doesn't leave behind any residue when I remove it in the future. I would recommend when the kids start exploring the cupboards or fridge its best to use. I would also consider this if I need it in the future.

I was not aware they made fasteners of this type of material for cabinets. Im used the harder ones. I will say it was easy to install. I like it best for the bottom cabinets for the pots and pans. I would definitely recommend this for any mommy or daddy with a busy Toddler running around.

I received this to try. At first I wasn't sure of it would work well but it does what it's supposed to do. It was easy to open and use and keeps my 2 yr old from getting into places in the kitchen that could be dangerous.

My wife and I just recently bought our first home. Currently we are in the process of toddler proofing our Home The major issue that I have with this is that If you have to continue getting in and out of the refrigerator (our place of choice) the strap tends to get into the way and I find it hard and awkward to unlatch it. Would be nice if it was able to swivel out of the way when I'm not worrying about our toddler raiding the fridge for some cheese. Besides that it's just minor things that I can live with. At the end of the day it does its job and my daughter isn't able to get inside of the refrigerator anymore. Would recommend to others.
