We love the idea of a more natural, less chemical toothpaste but we do prefer one with Fluoride to help fight cavities. Also, our son is one of those weird toddlers that prefers savory flavors over sweet. He loves veggies but dislikes most fruit (including all berries) so the Strawberry flavor was an instant turn-off for him. (We've since found a mint flavor that he likes.)
My baby really loves the pear and apple flavor. I'm really have a hard time brushing his teeth because don't usually want it, but since I used the Dr. Brown's pear and apple flavor toothpaste with his Dr. Brown's Crocodile toothbrush I was able to brush his teeth without any complaint & crying. He nows enjoy brushing his teeth.
I really like this Baby Toothpaste from Dr Brown. My baby really seems to enjoy the pear and apple flavor. It has no fluoride in it so it’s safe for babies to swallow. My one year old doesn’t yet spit completely so this is important. I like that there are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. The tube it comes in is easy to dispense on toothbrush. Overall, I think this is a great toothpaste.
As a first time mom, I have to make sure that everything I give to my baby is 100% safe. So I tried this toothpaste first. It has a nice subtle flavor of strawberry. It is fluoride free and has no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives, which I think is great that’s why I wasn’t worried at all if ever she swallows it. When I put it on her toothbrush and gave it to her, she actually likes it. Glad we have this product as part of her first oral hygiene must have!
My toddler loves is toothpaste. Compared to the other toothpaste when normally use she always asked to use the strawberry toothpaste. I can only assume because it must taste wonderful. To an adult it smells great and it really does smell like strawberries. It provides a clean non sticky feeling to her teeth doesn't leave anything behind.
