Got this for my 6 year old daughter, although the box says for ages eight and up. She has been polishing her nails on her own since she was four years old, so she is somewhat of a pro. It has 40 plastic nails that are small and fits her very well. The fake nails is something new to her, but she caught on in no time and really likes how long they are on her hands. There is no glue, but instead it has adhesive stickers/tape that you put on the back of the nails, so they stay on her hands without falling off. This was the only part that I helped my daughter with. It also has a pack of glitter and about 50 or so decorative stickers that come in the box. She was really into the glitter and sticker that she used almost the whole pack of glitter on one hand. Depending on how active she is will depend on how long the plastic nails stays on her hands. Some of them came off, but she just sticks them back on until they can't stick anymore, but she do have extras.

This kit is great for children prior to the preteen phase around ages 7-10. Three product characteristics I enjoyed are: color changing nail polish, the added bling accessories, the temporary nail press on for the older of the age phase. A con as it relates to the nail polish is that is peels off easily and only lasts a day or two.

I purchased these kit for my 5 year. She loves it. She loves every color changing. Everyday she asks me to polish her nails. These set has 5 colors what she all loves. It comes off pretty easy. It dries quick. Great little temperature changing colors.

I was somewhat disappointed with this set. First, it comes in a large box but when opened, there is almost nothing inside. Second, the polish peeled off within 15 minute, which annoyed my daughter. And third, while the glitter and stars were cute, resealable bags would have been helpful. Overall it’s a cute concept, just not all that great on delivery.
