3M WorkTunes Hearing Protector - MP3 Compatible with AM/FM Tuner (90541-4DC)

I bought these headphones approximately five months ago for doing general dad stuff: mowing the lawn, woodworking, running compressor tools. I was definitely very happy with the noise reduction and they were easy to tune to the stations I typically listen to. Battery life was perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, with no noticeable trauma to the headphones themselves the left speaker completely stopped working. I suppose I will continue to use them as they still work as earmuffs, but I know I'm a get one year of audio.

I thought this was going to be like any other pair of headphones where you heard noise. Was I severley wrong. I wore these yesterday while mowing the lawn and not only did I not hear the lawnmower, the crisp & clear quality from the radio was on point. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that needs noise protection but also wants to listen to some tunes. I'm not saying that are 100% noise free but they definitely keep the unwanted noise out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

When I received the hearing protection with am/fm radio I was a little doubtful they would work. I decided to wear them while I was mowing the lawn. It was amazing. The mower sound was extremely reduced but I could still listen to the radio and hear it just fine. It made mowing the lawn a lot more fun. They do fit very snugly on your head. I found that when I went for a water break taking them off gave me an opportunity to adjust them for a better fit. One of the features I thought was very nice was the voice assist. It tells you what radio station you're tuned into and wether you're on AM/FM. I found this quite nice because where I live a lot of the radio stations seem to be located close on the dial. The presets were a nice surprise and quite easy to do. Overall very pleased with them. I think my husband will enjoy using them too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

3M gifted this item to me. The set is very comfortable to wear. Programming up to 25 stations per AM or FM frequencies is a snap. Deleting stations; likewise. It has the noise suppression needed for noisy environments. No Bluetooth is available, but it has an input jack plus a chord that is long enough to extend from the headset to a phone to stream music, give or accept calls or use any music service app that the phone may have. In using the phone option, it was a little difficult to hear the person even with the volumes on the set and phone up as high as they would get. The conversation could be understood, though. I have 3M's first iteration of the Worktunes with Bluetooth tech. Of the two, it is my favorite unit. For those who do not have smart phones , the Worktunes AM/FM unit will be welcomed protection and entertainment while they work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

i bought this product at christmas 2016 to use in my woodshop and during grass season in spring only problem ive had when you turn channel knob voice assist tells channel ur on well in 3 to 4 turns voice says your on same channel no matter what reception you have
