HORMEL BLACK LABEL Egg Bites with Bacon, Sausage, and Three Cheeses, Refrigerated , 4.2 oz Plastic Tray

First off, these are not easy to find. I went to three or four different grocers to find Hormel Black Label products. This could be from the product being new to my area (Northern California). I was not expecting much from these two "egg bites." They are a little bigger than "bites." Each egg bite is about the size of my palm. I have a pretty average sized palm. Not a little bite but not too large either. This is good for those looking for a quick bite. The portion size is perfect. Give a little something to hold me over for a bit. Thats a win. The taste was a bit bland. Nothing that really grabs your attention and lets you know its there. It's truly just a quick filler which gives you 15 grams of protein (as the package states). If you're watching nutritional facts, it is high in sodium, cholesterol, and fats. This is expected and it's a good chance if you are watching the nutritional facts, you are eating something different than this. I did add some sweet chili sauce which added a perfect amount of taste to this egg bite (more than a bite). I would not buy this product. I already make scrambled eggs with spinach and sausage in a quick fashion. I have more control of what is in the dish and it is easy to prepare. I like my scrambled eggs. If you are on the run and really want a quick protein fill, then yes. Try this out. With some sweet chili sauce.

The Hormel Egg Bites were tasty, the product was the quality and size I expected. However, I didn't rate 5 stars because it was hard. It is easy to make, package size is perfect so you can store easy and take to go for an easy work breakfast!

I was asked to review this product. The first thing that caught my eye was the high amount of protein so I decided to give them a try. For obvious reasons the one I put in the oven and the air fryer were a lot better than the microwave one, (yeah, I'm a microwave girl. I had to try). I'm on a high protein diet right now and I will be buying these again.

These Hormel Black Label egg bites were pretty hard to find, but well worth it! Great for a busy morning when you just don't have the time and don't want to eat some unhealthy junk (lookin at you, pop tarts). Pretty healthy and yummy, plus quick. What more could you ask for?

The quality of this product is unmatched. As a busy mom of three and a grandmother to one there is never enough time in the day. These have enabled me to be able to enjoy a hot breakfast that I didn't feel bad about. The eggs,meat, and cheese were delicious! Highly recommended
