The size of the pik is awkward because it's large and clumsy, but also small.enough that it runs out of water quickly.
Its to tall to fit under a standard bathroom faucet, so now I have to keep a glass in the bathroom to fill it. Also, it only holds enough water to do the lower teeth and then you have to refill it to do the upper teeth.
I had my waterpik for over 20 years…unfortunately it hit the floor and I had to replace it. I can't be without it. I use it after every meal and at bedtime. I love mine. My teeth are close together so food gets in between spaces. Much easier than flossing. Haven't had a cavity in years.
Recommended by my dentist to clean around a recent implant. She said bacteria can't harm the implant but can cause decay to the adjacent teeth. Floss doesn't reach all areas around the implant. I love that it is cordless and love the curved end attachment specifically designed for implants.
I first purchased this maybe 20 years ago for my dad. But he didn't use it and he gave it back. I loved it. Then after all these years, the battery wouldn't hold a charge and I purchased a new one - the exact same and it's just as good as the first one. It's great because it's easy to travel with!
