I installed the running boards on a 1995 Ford F250. The product is excellent and amazing how it was engineered to fit the old truck. Instructions are good. The only minor problem was some anchor bolts that were too long for the insert. The fix was to add some washers as shims. Other than that the boards are a good product at a very fair price.

These things are sweet. Exactly what I was looking for, and look great on my truck plus make the truck look good. They're exactly what I ordered and arrived really quick. They were so simple and easy to install. Only took me 45 minutes to install them from start to finish.

First, I would like to see that the running boards look nice on the truck. The board itself is wide enough to feel comfortable on, but they lack in certain areas where I believe improvement can be made. When installing the brackets, I noticed that there is room for additional brackets to provide sturdiness to the running boards. Having additional brackets would help with any overall flex to the running boards. Since I notice this, I took it upon myself to call APS to inquire about extra installation hardware. Some pieces are available for order, while others are not. I was able to purchase an additional hardware kit, which included additional brackets and installation hardware, but did NOT include the flat metal bars that install between the brackets and running boards. With the additional installation hardware, I am sure this will take care of any flex in the running board. Overall a great product that seems as though it will hold up over time. Downfall is spending the additional $50.00 for the extra hardware.

I bought these to replace a pair of rusted out round tube bars. I researched and wanted something wide and non slip so my dog could get in and out of the 4 wheel taller truck. They arrived and were packed great. They were listed as APS Boards on the webiste but arrived in a box that says I Boards. I installed all the brackets before looking at the boards. They do not have a "non slip stepping pad secured with rivets." What they have are machined grooves in the aluminum. Nice quality and easily installed but if you wanted a rubber surface these are not them.

I'm going to rate the whole process 5 stars because literally everything was easy and timely. They shipped and arrived within the week, I installed in less than an hour, and they are very sturdy. They are withstanding construction abuse as well as my family. 5 stars all the way around!
