I like these peanut butter cups I would compare them to the low sugar versions of Russell Stover. Each peanut butter butter cup has 2 g in net carbs per serving, 0 g added sugar and is gluten-free with zero artificial flavors. The box is a 14 count, one piece is 8 g of fat, 5 g of saturated fat & 2 grams of protein.
The ReliOn Diabetic Friendly Peanut Butter Cup can be part of a Keto lifestyle. The main ingredients are cocoa butter, erythritol, and unsweetened chocolate. Inulin is the fourth ingredient; a soluble fibre that nourishes gut microbes, eases constipation, and even helps the body absorb magnesium and calcium. The benefits of inulin also include lowering blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes type II. Milk protein isolate is another ingredient. These main ingredients combine to produce a tasty-diabetic- friendly-snack. The strongest flavor is chocolate and the peanut butter flavor is mild. The ReliOn Diabetic Friendly Peanut Butter Cup comes in a convenient individual package. Ready to carry on the go; the box has 14. The product was tasted by a person in the pre-diabetic phase. Plans to make this product a part of a new lifestyle will hopefully yield satisfactory results on the next doctor ordered labs.
I wasn't sure what to expect from these ReliOn Diabetic Snack Cups but they taste much better than I expected. Being diabetic I miss sweet snacks especially anything chocolate. They definitely aren't as sweet as regular chocolates but they do a nice job of satisfying my chocolate craving when it hits. My 8.4 oz box has 14 cups and as good as these are, this box might not last me long. I love that they're individually wrapped because it makes it easier to take them on the go. Each cup has 2g net carbs, 2g protein, 0g sugar, 90 calories, and are gluten free. Nothing beats the high sugar chocolates but these are a close alternative. I highly recommend these.
If you're looking for a peanut butter cup that tastes like the name brand, then forget it. The texture is quite grainy, you can hardly taste the peanut butter and you can taste a little chocolate. It's definitely sweet enough so if you're JUST looking for something sweet, but diabetic friendly, it's okay.
These peanut butter cups are great. They are small like the fun size candy bars you get at Halloween. They don’t taste exactly like a Reese‘s peanut butter cup however, they are very good. The calorie count is fantastic and assist with my A1c. I love the count of 14 in each box. This gives you one each day for two weeks. How great is it that you can get protein in a dessert?
