My daughterand I found it great fun working with the dyes and creating a pattern, the box gives you 4 colors and a jig to help create twist tie dye. We used it to created a bullseye patters, we plan to buy some more white shirts to make more patters. We used a shirt that had wording on it, and it did not ruin that. It's now her favorite shirt. I think I enjoy the activity just as much as her.

This kit was super fun. Used it at a birthday party (bought extra pieces for all the kids). The colors were nice and vibrant. The kit itself is easy to use. I thought it was going to be less messy that a tradition paint set but it was about the same, maybe slightly less messy. But really, what did I expect? It's paint and there are kids within a 10 foot radius LOL definitely recommend. But get some additional pieces to dye.

I love doing tie dye with my kids! They love it too! There's so many different things you can dye and so many different ways to tie and dye them too! I honestly love kits like this! It has eveything you need! It makes the process so easy! And you can always buy more colors to add to your kit and get even more creative! The directions will guide you and there's pictures to help with understanding too! Have fun and get to creating!

If your kids loves tie dye products, this is and excellent starter kit to get them. It's pretty simple to use, yet can be a bit messy so being prepared is a must lol. I love that the fun of tie-dye can be enjoyed in the comfort of their home, but do wish the set had a few more pieces! Maybe another scrunchy or some socks, this would make the kit more worth its money and longer lasting. Overall, it makes a fantastic gift and gives your kiddo something fun to do!

This is a cute project, I understand the idea behind it but the contraption itself is bulky. It didn't snap together completely and we ended up taking off the top cover. The dye was vibrant but the powder was messy to mix. If I had given this to my pre-teen kids to create anything, it would have been a complete disaster. The clips on the side clamp well but turning them was more difficult than explained in the super basic instructions. We ended up using our own items to dye, a T-shirt and some socks. We used a child's large tshirt and that's about the maximum size of anything that would fit in the compartment. Again, a fun “one time” craft but I wouldn't use it again, we will stick to traditional tie dye methods.
