I am a diehard vegan. I knew I needed to supplement B-12 but was late in discovering that I also needed to supplement with DHA EPA. I bought this product to try getting nutrients closer to the primary producers. There is absolutely no aftertaste or awkward digestive smells. Personally, I did not experience any negatives. The capsules are quite easy to swallow which is perfectly rounded added bonus. I highly recommend this for people who can't withstand the fish.
