Great product. I like how you can rebuild a variety of different things with one set and it is time consuming. I think the design is very convenient for younger children and the app is also easy to use. I would make sure you have a device that is compatible with the app. I did have a bit of trouble however connecting the set to Bluetooth because it kept turnng off after a while which I found was frustrating. Other then that I really enjoyed this set.

If you have the correct pad ie kindle or IPAD this is good. Challenging and good for their own confidence. My son is 7Years old and did this alone. He loves he programming part and is enough challenge. Recommend this highly

Lego Boost creative toolbox is amazing! What an incredible product if you want to expose your child to robotics and coding. The app is extremely easy to use. Anyone can build these robots if you follow the instructions on the app. Endless hours of fun and learning. We bought this for our 6 year old son. He built Vernie on his own following the directions. We are avid Lego fans so our son has been exposed from an early age to Lego. If your child is used to Lego Duplo this will be challenging build. And the pieces might be difficult to manipulate. And they might get frustrated. Your child needs to be able to build with smaller pieces than Duplo. Lego Duplo has a coding train if your child is used to Duplo. ( Lego Duplo coding express). The coding in Lego Boost creative toolbox is from basic to more complicated. The app teaches your child to code. What an brilliant product.

I bought this for my nephew and he was so excited just after watching the videos of Vernie. After completing the 1st lesson with help of his parents, he really loved it and is now waiting to complete more lessons.

This was an awesome robot to build with the kids, but once we reached a step that required turning the robot on, it would start to move and shutdown or continue to complain the sensor or motor was not connected. I ended up finding the full instructions online to complete the build, since the app prevents you to move on. So all in all, a great project to build, but expensive when you can't actually use it.
