[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stuck with a product that had good reviews. Considering it was the last step in a DIY renovation in the front entrance of my house where I had invested about $700 in building materials and almost two months of time, this was a heavy choice for $24. Like many paint jobs, prep is everything, so it took a lot of time to visually touch up the mortar work, apply muriatic acid properly, neutralize it with ammonia properly, rinse and let it dry properly. Dodged bad weather, found a good time and gave it two coats. Used a brush due to the paver surface. Goes in milky, dries clear, used a thin and fast second coat. Looks fabulous. Curb appeal A++. Coverage area per coat was about 100 sq. ft. Used ½ gallon on first coat, about 1/8 gallon on second coat. First coat took three hours, second went much faster, about half the time. First coat sheen was satin, second coat sheen glossy. Urethane fortified acrylic. So far, so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm planning to seal my concrete driveway but before I got in the big Job I tested the product with my concrete outdoor kitchen countertop. This product is extremely easy to use. It is very liquid and not sticky, the application is a lot faster than I was expecting and it also dries fast. I'm very impressed and satisfied with this product. The only detail is that I have some difficulties trying to get it applied evenly, but I think it was because I use a paint brush instead of a roller. Now I'm ready to do my driveway. 100% recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this Seal Krete product to seal and protect a small paver patio, and it quite honestly looks better than new. Application takes some patience with a roller, prep time, and good weather, but the end result is worth it. Also, even though the finished patio has a bit of a sheen, the surface is not slick at all. Even when it's wet, it remains a non-slip surface.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I plan to use this sealer on my garage floor but it is too late in the season to do this. I decided to use it on the slate floor in my hallway. I cleaned the slate and cement grout with stripper and put the sealer on. It brought out the colors and the slate has a lovely subtle sheen. I especially like being able to clean up with soap and water. Very anxious to see how my garage comes out. I did do a small section on my basement floor and am happy with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 4 gallons of this product, which is going to be fantastic for finishing my new front walkway. If I have extra, I will also epoxy my storage area in my basement. The containers say the epoxy can cover 150-500 sq. ft each, depending on how pourous the concrete surface is. The weather really cooled off here in northern Illinois, so I am going to wait until late spring to apply the epoxy outdoors. I really love the look of that smooth glossy epoxy. I can't wait to be able to use it!
