Drive Medical Bathroom Safety Shower Tub Bench Chair, Blue

I had my doubts about this bench initially thinking I really might want to consider a chair with a back but I admit that I feel completely safe with this bench and it is really quite stable.

The screws underneath that hold the legs to the bench itself, come loose constantly & I have to turn it over every time I get done with my shower to make sure they are tight for my next shower, which is very inconvenient as I am disabled, hence the reason I purchased it in the first place. The bench is comfortable enough when I'm in the shower & it does offer more leg room as my shower is rather small, but, if I didn't have a shower aide to help me, I'd be afraid to use it on my own.

Very helpful. Doesn't take up much space.

Purchased several years ago and used for one month. Stored in attic in case needed again. Put back in service two months ago (patient has broken tibia). Yesterday the legs on one side failed outward, dumping patient to floor. (Patient weighs less than half of the rated weight.) Fire Dept. EMTs called.
