Olive & June Instant Mani Almond Long Press-On Nails, Sheer Pink, CCT, 42 Pieces

I love the Olive and June press-ons usually but for some reason this color always splits vertically at the tips after just a day or so. I hate that because this is my favorite color but they just aren't sturdy.

I love the look and length but unfortunately I keep running into the issue of these nails cracking/splitting right down the middle. Once on my right thumb and the second time on my right index finger. Support reached out and told me to size up so I did that with this set and still it's splitting. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm literally following the instructions and it's not my first time using press on nails. Have used KISS, Glamnetic and Static Nails and haven't run into splitting issues with those yet — and Static Nails are very thin (one of the reasons I actually don't like their press-ons). Anyway, it's disappointing because there were designs I've ordered that I LOVE but it's not worth having to replace them all the time after wearing 1-2 days and then having them split down the middle. It's a hassle and especially if I'm out for the day and can't immediately fix it. It snags on everything! Maybe will try again down the line when product improves.

I really took my time with sizing my nails and glue application, and was very surprised at how much these press-ons looked like standard acrylic/gel-X nails. They also felt very sturdy. Used the brush on glue with this set and it lasted me a week. I probably could have used them a bit longer, but I noticed that after about 6-7 days, the base of the nails around my cuticle started to lift so I decided to remove them altogether. Overall these are great quality for the price. Also love the KAG color since it's a neutral pink and can be used for any occasion.

I wore these on vacation, so I wasn't working with my hands or doing anything extreme, before I even went in a pool at all I had lost 3 nails (thumbs, pinky) and after day 2 I had 2 bent nails. They just felt too flimsy for the length, I don't think the quality is there. Very embarrassing to be on vacation with weak funky nails... I splurged for these but should have just ran to the drug store.
