Simplicity - Nursery-in-a-Box, Cherry

I was a bit leary of buying this set also, as I just thought that it would have to be kind of cheaply made, but for the price, i figured i would give it a try. I brought it home expecting to have to spend several days putting it together. I was amazed when i had the entire set together in just one night! The directions were extremely easy to follow, and all of the parts ( screws, bolts, etc) are all neatly packaged and labeled so there is no guesswork. I am 8 months pregnant and i was able to put this together completely by myself! It also includes all of the tools you need to put it together. I thought the dresser would have been a nightmare, but after assembling the first drawer , the rest all went together very quickly. And the crib was no problem at all, and The changing table took maybe 20 minutes to put together. This set looks amazing all set up with bedding and all, I still find myself sitting in the nursery just admiring how beautiful it looks. If you are on a budget, this is definetly the product for you! It is extremely sturdy, and doesnt feel the slightest bit cheap to me. I love it!

Our daughter is 19 months old and we have enjoyed this product very much. We began using the crib when she as 2 months old and it was a wonderful gift (from my co-workers!). I would highly recommend this for anyone on a budget. The cherry finish makes it look much nicer than you'd think with the cost being so low. My husband has adjusted the crib mattress several times with no problems. We still use the changing table, too, even though our daughter has nearly outgrown it! I would suggest that when your child is old enough to get into the dresser that you bolt it to the wall as it can tip over with drawers open (as any could). Absolute great product and we plan to use it with baby #2 on the way!

We received this set as a gift, and couldn't be happier! It was very easy to put together! The crib and changing table took about 20 minutes a peice. The dresser was a little more challenging, but still not difficult compared to some things we have had to put together! The quality is suprisingly good, considering the price. Even though our little one hasn't arrived yet, I am sure the furniture will hold up just fine. The only drawback as some have already mentioned, is the visible screws on the dresser and crib.

We purchased this set over a year ago for our grandson. He is the typical "rough and tumble" little guy, and ALL of the furniture has held up without a problem. My only "not so great" would be that there were not any woodtone covers for the dresser, so the metal fasteners show...and take away from the otherwise great appearance. We have 17 grandkids, so have seen LOTS of baby furniture. This is very attractive, the cherry color looks classy, and the furniture is durable. My husband is a finish carpenter and professional furniture maker, and was also impressed with the quality of the set. The only thing he did recommend is that we use wood glue on the drawer bottoms, so that they wouldn't slip. I would definitely recommend! Oh, and my daughter and I put the furniture together in about two hours, so the assembly must be pretty easy!

You really can't beat getting all three nursery pieces for the price. The assembly really wasn't that difficult. There was a defect on the dresser top, but after a quick 5 minute call to Simplicity, they sent a brand new one prompty! I'm glad we decided not to go crazy and break the bank getting a $300+ dollar crib and expensive furniture. We were really surprised how nice the whole set actually turned out and the nursery looks great! Not to mention after all the money we saved on this purchase, we were able to get a lot of decor and baby essentials! This is a very smart purchase for new parents, especially a young couple on a budget like us! I highly recommend it!
