Compressed in an easy to carry briquette form, the coco block expands up to 2.4 Gal. once you add water. Made from sustainable coconut coir husk particles and fiber, the coir briquettes has neutral pH which leads to stronger root growth, increased moisture retention which means you have to water it less and the lignins in coco coir encourage beneficial bacteria growth and suppress weed growth. It's high water holding capacity and moisture retention makes it an ideal potting soil for hydroponics, container gardening and landscaping. The low EC (electrical conductivity) ensures high yield. Coconut coir fiber is the ideal growing medium for gardening and to help your plants retain water and help them grow. This coco coir is a great alternative to peat moss and is eco-friendly. Made from the coconut husks in South InDia it is 100% organic. The coco coir also works great as a soil amendment which helps add nutrients to the soil and help it retain moisture. It even helps lighten clay soil and as mentioned it provides aeration and adds mass to sandy soil. The potting soil is easy to use as well. Just add 1 Gal. of water gradually and evenly to the coco coir briquette. Wait for a few minutes for the briquette to expand fully and it's ready to use.
