Only thing that reduces a star is the purpose isn't clear... this is a great stabilizer for me hoping on the top of my foot is reduced, these seem to help boost my stretch and strengthening. Having skin tone options would also be an improvement personally I can't put these over socks or shoes, and even trying tights they slip around a bit.

I bought the petite size which was a great fit for my narrow feet. I love dancing in them because they make me more aware of what my feet are doing and hence correct my alignment if need be.

I'm not a dancer by profession. Nor do I need these for medical conditions. I just prefer the feel of bound feet/ ankles with the added function of the arch support. This product helps prepare my feet for ballet heel wear.

I bought a larger size based on the reviews (regular shoe size 7.5 so I bought a large even though it states I should get a medium). I found it to fit okay, but loose in some areas...though i haven't tried the medium.

I really like these supports for ballet and pointe center work, although I do wish that they were a little more thin. Also, the support itself is helpful, but it certainly doesn't fix low/weak arches. I would recommend wearing these alone while working on basic floor technique.
