About 18 seconds in the grinder rendered a perfectly smooth cup of coffee. This coffee is truly a light to medium strength coffee, as described, with a pleasantly mild taste. Both a single serve coffee maker and a French press make a nice cup of coffee. Love the zipper lock closure on the bag.

I brewed this coffee per the instructions on the packaging for French Press, the coffee is lighter than I expected for being a “light-medium” roast, but has a nice smooth taste. So if you like light coffee give this one a try! Also, the packaging is perfect for pouring the beans straight into the grinder without them getting caught on the lip which is a simple thing but I sure appreciate it! Over all I wouldn't say it's a medium at all but would pair well with a light breakfast.

So, I thought this was okay but my husband really enjoyed it! He said it was really refreshing in the morning and he felt more awake longer after drinking it. He drinks his with no cream and liked it. I needed some creamer in mine. I thought it tasted better than some of the ones I've bought but I didn't feel as energized as my husband did.

If you are a big coffee fan like me, then this may just be the brand for you! The packaging has a very rich feel to it, so you know they are already interested in protecting their product. What you won't know until you zip open the bag for the first time is just how amazing the scent is! I love the smell of coffee, and um usually satisfied with anything, but when I opened this, I knew I'd probably never buy any other brand ever again! I ordered the whole bean version because I believe there's nothing better than fresh ground coffee. The first grind was magical as the beans let off an even more amazing scent as they were beat into grinds. Then the coffee was brewed and I did it two different ways to test each. By coffee press, the coffee was rich with a bold and full flavor. Very little acidity if any present. Then the coffeemaker which is my least favorite means of having coffee, but is essential for those tight mornings. The flavor profile was of course lessened by the coffeemaker, but surprisingly enough, was still much better than any other coffee I've used that method. Suffice it to say, that I don't think I'll be wasting this rich coffee in the maker if I don't have to. The French press is the way to go. No matter how you decide to brew this however, you will not be disappointed in the least at having purchased this coffee!

The beans smells really great still in the bag. There is a small slit on the back which only gives out smell when it held close to nose and then slightly flipped. I grinned about 2 table spoons of beans and made 2 cups by mixing milk. I am not an coffee aficionado, so I don't know about those "fruity notes" the manufacturer says, but it tasted good. 4 stars because of the fresh smell brings high hopes, but the taste is just ok, may be it was because of the way I made it? I don't know.. The best thing I noticed is the pleasant coffee after taste it left in the mouth. Doesn't remember many coffees did that.
