I used this for years and then started using the repairing rich cream at night and most days. I would only continue using the replenishing rich moisturiser under makeup (which is literally 4-5 times a month). So I had two unopened bottles of the old one, before they updated the formula. I recently bought some more replenishing rich moisturiser (2 bottles) and finally started using it with the updated formula and the smell is horrendous - it a chemical smell and the only way I can describe it is a chlorine smell. Not only that, within seconds on applying it to my face my skin started stinging and went bright red. I opened the second bottle to see if that smells the same, and it does. This was 2 weeks ago and I obviously stopped using it and my skin eventually went back to normal and isn't reacting to the repairing rich cream. I also should add that I do not get acne (I'm almost 30) but after applying the new formula version I got a rash and a few few small pimples on my cheeks and forehead! Seems more like an allergic reaction than actual acne as the pimples weren't the type with puss or that you could pop. Whatever changed with this formulation has made my skin react and this never happened in the 12 years of using the replenishing rich moisturiser. I also read some recent reviews here and other people are saying the same. I should also add that I started using the replenishing rich moisturisers right from the start of them releasing it and initially it was a very thick cream, as advertised. But I started noticing a few months ago that that “cream” has totally changed it's consistency - it is no longer a cream, but it's very thin, almost water like and feels oily. Thought they have not stated any changes, it has definitely changed. I have used Simple since my teens and they have always been a very good brand with consistent quality products, so I don't understand what's going on with them? Why do go products/ brands start changing perfectly good products? And why do they ignore the high volume of people complaining that their change to products are suddenly affecting people's skin? If they don't start addressing people's complaints and seriously take a look at their products, I am going to have to look for a new brand. Very upset about this

I have combo skin but this product is not moisturising enough for me. The only reason it's getting 3 stars is because the ingredients are gentle enough for this moisturiser to mix with any oil. That is the only reason I've repurchased it. Simple need to make an "Intense moisture" version of this for everyone who has dry skin.

I love the product 100%, the formula is not greasy, and very hydrating and it is easily absorbed into the skin. Making your skin feel silky smooth however, the only down fall to these product is the packaging. What I mean by that is, when I have used enough of the product to the point where I have to give the bottle a little shake or two, I seem to experience the product is flooding out of the container and it won't stop. Then for the next 30 minutes, I spend trying to some how get all that lost product back into the container.

This moisturizer is the best I've ever used. I have combination skin that is pretty dry year-round, especially in the winter months, but it's also incredibly sensitive to almost any fragrance or chemical- from redness to stinging to hives, it's not a good look. This moisturizer causes none of that! It has a nice consistency; creamy, but not too thick, and goes on smoothly. A little goes a long way. It absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave residue or shine; just hydrated, soft, healthy skin. I've been using this for about 6 months and I'm happy to report that my skin is no longer dry, flaky or itchy when I make facial expressions! It does not make my T-zone any oilier- in fact, my skin produces less oil now than before because it's not trying to over-compensate for the dryness. It even seems to have evened out my skin tone some and as a bonus, it's an excellent value for money, especially compared to the other, expensive so-called "sensitive" skin moisturizers that are still full of chemicals and make my face look like an unhappy tomato. I'm in love.

I have pretty dry skin. I break out from it and I flake on my nose. I also have really sensitive skin. I went to the drugstore to get a moisturizer, and I decided to get it. I've noticed notice my breakouts have been clearing up and I when I use it it gets rid of my flakes completely. I really like this moisturizer.
