Kaytee Nutri Soft Parakeet and Cockatiel Pet Bird Food Seed, 2 lb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous about introducing these to my parakeet's diet because they can be picky but they took it so easily and LOVED it! Now they get so excited at feeding time. Definitely will continue purchasing it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a welcome product as the softer texture makes adding pellets to a bird's diet a smoother transition. I rescue several birds each year and usually have to convert them to a healthier diet - this type of pellet is an important tool in my toolbox for that! (Bonus of no artificial colors as well - love that!!). I stir this in with their veggie mix on the morning and it blends in perfectly.

I have tried different brand in the past but never was successful. I received this as a product review. It took them about a week to get used to this soft pellet. I like how this pellet has no filler and no sugar in it. Most of all, no artificial coloring. I would recommend this to any cockatiel people if you like to change up their food sometimes. I have 5 cockatiels and only 3 of them was accepting this soft pellet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buddy is a picky eater when it comes to pellets. We have tried other brands and he picks certain colours out and leaves the rest. As soon as we put the Kaytee Nutrisoft pellets out, he dug his little head in the bowl and did not come up for air! He ate everything and loved the fruit flavours and soft texture. His little chirps while he scarfed them down means that these are definitely a hit with him - and no mess means they're a hit with me too! Delicious, more please!
