Meguiar's Wheel Brightener ? Clear-Coated, Factoy Painted and Chrome Wheel Cleaner ? D14001, 1 gal

I am by no means a pro detailer, but in my driveway I know my way around a DA polisher and the difference between a carnuba and sealant wax. I had terrible brake dust built up on my rim after a caliper locked up in the middle of winter and could not clean it until after the thaw. Could not get it off with any of the retail junk. Almost resorted to easy off oven cleaner until I read about this. Wish I took a before and after pic. It cuts through the worst caked on brake dust, traffic slime, and contaminants. This could be a spray on and then hose off without scrubbing, but I would recommend you agitate for best results. Rims look brand new. Not a "purple bleeder" like some of the iron removers, does not stink terribly like them, and I would NOT use this every time I clean my rims or on maintenance washes, only on the heavy built up gunk. Highly recommend for the heavy duty jobs. This is the stuff the professional detailers use on neglected rimes. READ directions/warnings because I do not think you can use this on chrome rims. If you have tried many different products over the years, try this once and you are done searching for a heavy duty rim cleaner. Definitely paying more for the gallon jug, but the gallon will last for a very long time, dilute it 1 to 5 or to your preference, do not need a lot of this to get professional results. I would imagine this will last me several years at least if stored correctly.

Best wheel cleaner I have ever used. Used in on my 2002 Tahoe and although the wheels have been in pretty good condition considering their age, had spots that nothing would clean off even with a lot of scrubbing. McGuire's Wheel Brightener made a very noticeable improvement after just the first application and with no scrubbing. Again-Best wheel cleaner ever!
