Garmin nüvi 1390LMT Automobile Portable GPS Navigator, Refurbished

i am impressed with the quality of this refurbished product by the manufacturer.the price i payed is little more than the market value.but items overall condition is like brand new. there are two things to consider when you buy manufacture refurbished item.1 all they worried about is there brand name so they wont necessarily sell a bad item.2 they don't want their overhaul item to revisit there repair shop.so a refurbished item is not a bad idea at all.

The Nuvi works as expected, and I use it as a backup to my Droid phone and in areas that have poor cellphone coverage. Ironically, after backing up the unit with "up to date" maps, the unit could not locate a hospital I was traveling to. The road name was not Capital Way but Nursery Road on the Garmin. Though this might be just a burp, the Droid did know where the road was. Until Garmin gets good with users speaking a destination, it is a second rate navigation system. Also, the database of restaurants and attractions doesn't seem to get updated as often as it should, with defunct restaurants still in the system. Garmin has a little catching up to do to equal the performance of a smart phone.

This purchase was definitely a great buy. I was impressed with the "Like New" quality. It never gave the look and feel of refurbished. The best of all, this GPS comes with Lifetime Map and Traffic updates, and you can't beat the $69.99 price with free shipping. I definitely recommend this GPS as a great product, and Walmart.com for great price, ease of transaction, and prompt delivery.

I got my first GPS unit earlier this year. We love it. Our daughter expressed an interest in getting one for her car. When I saw this refurbished unit at this great, low price, I had to get it for my daughter. We expect it to be as good as the one we have, but it is a gift that won't be used until after Christmas.

I have been having problems with my phone data plan and I use my GPS alot so this was a great solution. Lifetime maps and traffic pretty awesome... It has this great gas saving feature too, you can track your mpg which is great if you don't have a fancy car that has all those bells and whistles.
