Homedics SoundSpa® Ultra Portable Rechargeable Sound Machine, SS-6050

I bought this to help improve my sleep. I chose HoMedics because of their wonderful reputation. I couldn't be happier. It has many choices to listen to.. Once charged it is cordless. It takes up very little space on your night table. Most importantly it works! It is soothing and drowns out outside distractions. I highly recommend!

Great sound! I was a little surprised to find out from the directions I needed to depress the on-off button few seconds to turn it on and off. The on and off button works more like a manual on-off button on a computer. Fortunately, when all else fails I read the the instructions. HA HA!

I was struggling with sleep due to middle-of-the-night noise from my new neighbor. Can anyone relate? If you live in an apartment building, you probably know what I mean. My daughter suggested the Homedics SoundSpa ULTRA! She messaged me a snap of hers, and I ordered it immediately. I had it shipped "Next Day." I was desperate. Fast forward...I haven't had a sleepless night since I received this magic machine. I'm actually astounded with how well your sound machine works for me. The 12 sound options are delightful; most of all, I appreciate the range of the volume control. So easy to use - easy to adjust volume without having to turn on the bedroom light. If I stir in the middle of the night and find that my neighbors have finally gone to bed, I simply the volume The up/down volume controls have a raised bar so you don't have to even look at it. I called the pleasant Home Medics rep and said that I did not like the tiny size and no cord. She apologized for the AC cord missing. I returned the item, but have yet to get a refund on my CC. I had three Home Medics sound machines from 2014-16 which were great, but just wore out. These oldies were big (8"x"8") and had a big sound. They do not make these any more. I subsequently ordered a Letsfit White Noise Machine which is cheaper and has more features such as a light system that reqlly works.

My grand daughters find it hard to go to sleep without their white noise machine, which they forgot the last time they stayed over. So I bought this machine and I LOVE IT! I may never let them use it. 'Ocean' is my favorite, but I like 'Campfire' equally.
