By far the best pesto!! Ive used on chicken, porkchops, steak, and salmon and it has been delicious every time!!

This is my favorite! Its less bitter than many pesto, i believe it is because it uses almonds not pinenuts.

I always thought I hated pesto because I'd always bought the jarred stuff in the pasta aisle. I had a recipe calling to add basil pesto at the finish of an Italian soup but only use the refrigerated kind. I found this at Walmart near the deli. I gave it a shot and now there is always a tub in the fridge. We eat it on everything! Totally improves the flavor profile of many dishes and low on the glycemic index for those with dietary concerns.

At first I thought this was really good and the more I ate it the saltier it became. I then checked the sodium amount and lo and behold, 640mg of salt in a quarter cup which is way too much for my liking.

Love the pesto. Great price.
