Lucky Brand Basel Almond-Toe Ankle Booties Dark Denim (7, Dark Denim)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these on a whim because I've wanted red booties for awhile. Wore them for the first time yesterday and as usual with Lucky Brand, they're completely comfortable and good looking. Got 3 compliments on them in one day!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a chance and ordered these boots, they fit as if they were custom made. The leather is soft. Just enough padding inside to be soft but yet offers the support I need. They are narrow enough for my narrow feet and the heel is the right height to be comfortable.

I've worn this bootie for several years. I just bought my third pair! I wear them constantly because they are so comfortable. They never have to be "broken in" as many new shoes do. I even wore them while touring in Europe for ten days, walking several miles every day.

The toe areas are pretty snug ~ hoping that they will 'give' in time as buying a larger size is not doable because the heel area is already a little too wide. I do like the fact that they open on both sides as I have a high instep and have had difficulty in the past with trying to get my foot into boots/booties.

I received nothing but an email saying that I was receiving a refund for my return. I never received the boots and did not request that the order be cancelled. When I tried to call the customer service number shown on the email and the site, it said that the number was not in service. At least I got my money back, I guess.
