McCormick Beef Stroganoff Sauce Seasoning Mix, 1.5 oz Packet

I always struggle when it comes to making sauces or gravy for dishes. I really enjoyed this seasoning packet, it was easy to use and delicious. It really added to the recipe and tasted homemade. I can't wait to try some of the other seasoning packets!

I got this as a sample to try. On the occasion I make a stroganoff I usually use my mom's recipe from scratch. Gave this a shot. It's pretty good in a pinch to use as a bit of a time saver. You may need additional seasoning to your liking, but it works pretty good to save a little effort.

I received McCormick beef stroganoff sauce seasoning as a free sample to try. I cooked 1 lb ground beef and a package of egg noodles. I mixed up the sauce and added all the ingredients together. The package was easy to mix up. The sauce had great flavor, but was a tad bit saltier than I would have preferred. Over all I would definitely try again.

I used the McCormick® Beef Stroganoff mix with chicken instead of beef, and it turned out great. The sauce was really creamy and had a nice, savory flavor with a little bit of tang that made the dish taste like it took a lot more effort than it did. It was quick to make and worked perfectly over noodles. I was impressed with how well it paired with chicken, and I'd definitely buy it again to try with beef too.

I don't cook often, and when I do I generally stick with quick, easy-to-throw-together recipes. This sauce packet breaks making stroganoff down into a few steps with only a handful of ingredients. It looks and smells delicious, and tasted wonderful.. And, as is typical/traditional, I served it with egg noodles. I would definitely make this again, and check out other options from McCormick.
