Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus 255/35R20 97Y Tire Fits: 2007-10 Mercedes-Benz S550 4Matic, 2017-18 Audi Q3 Technik

I have the Pilot A/S 3+ on my personal vehicle. During a recent tire test conducted by my company, I had a chance to run the Pilots, in stock size, against five ultra-high performance tires,all of which were wider and lower profile. The Pilots almost matched the wider UHPs in dry conditions, and with a narrower profile beat them on wet pavement.

I did research on this particular tire which had some mixed reviews. A couple of users who complained about road noise being loud and all (I never got these loud tire noises). I drive a Mini Camden Cooper S and I gotta say, this is a great tire as it grips extremely well to the road. Once I need to replace these I am intrigued about the Michelin Pilot A/S 4's.

Purchased tires a few years ago, but have gotten just over 32k miles out of these tires. At first these tires were great, quiet, sticky, good under breaking - especially for an all season tire. Approximately 1k miles ago tires began to become progressively louder, noticed a loss of grip with many bits of the rubber flaking off from the tires. Tires were rotated approx every 6-8k miles (either at the tire dealer or at dealership). One tire now has the belts showing and other 3 are about to expose themselves. I talked with an installer today and expressed my concern and upon learning of the brand/type of tire on my car (insert long pause here) "Oh - you have those tires..." I will not recommend these tires to anyone.

The tires are quiet and very responsive. I drive mostly on local roads with some Highway miles (probably 1/4). The tires are on my 1997 Corvette. I also used MSV4 Michelins on my Lexus and was also very happy with the tires. I plan to buy Michelins to replace the ones I now have when they are worn away.

It is important to me that my family and I are safe when traveling. We drive many miles to work, to school events, and on vacation. Michelin provides security and peace of mind knowing that we are traveling on the best tires made. We have not experienced any problems during our local or long distant travels. Nothing is as important as the safety of my family. Michelin is a brand I can trust!
