Smaller train set but super cute

This is a super cute Christmas train. It's worth the 14.99 price but I got it on sale for $10 which is a great deal. I would have given five stars except that the tracks are cheap and will not stay clicked together That was easily remedied by using small strips of packing tape to keep the pieces together After that the train ran smoothly and my kids had fun putting little objects in the wagon car It has sounds and lights and just overall is a nice little Christmas decoration or toy for the season especially if you can get it on sale

Saw this at Wal-Mart and figured I'd pick it up for $15. It requires 2aa batteries not included but hey it was only $15 and says it on the package. Has a decent size track and is fun to put under the tree for decoration. Has a no sound setting and then a setting where it has sound. It plays horns and bells then plays a creepy Jingle Bells tune that goes well with the Grinch theme. It's all plastic, and if not on a flat surface has trouble staying on the track but ho scale high dollar trains require flat surfaces. It is recommended for children 8 on the box. My 3yo loves watching it go round and round, and yes children will trash it if they try to use it as a rocket ship. It's a little larger than ho scale and will knock off track if you touch it. For a novelty train though, this was an excellent value. Not sure what people were expecting for $15. Saw all the bad reviews and had to give this review as I was really impressed with the value of this little toy. Unsupervised yes a small child will destroy it, but I have watched so many people spend over $10 on a drink of coffee and then to call this a bad product is crazy. If you are into simple novelty trains this is a great buy!
