Its design is virtually unchanged from one I installed 20 years ago. Works great, keeps my cat inside the screen door.
This is a replacement for a broken door catch. They only last about a year, but I like the way it works. I will probably buy a spare to keep on hand, knowing full well it will need replacement.
Exactly what I was looking for. They work great! They seem much safer than the ones where the spring is exposed when they are closed. These are designed to be both functional and attractive.
this works good to keep the wooden patio door closed, but the bad is the spring kept falling off and I had to replace the latch as the spring needs to be a little more curved on the end to stay on he hook..
Bought this to hold the attic door in the garage closed, bought 2 thinking it would be enough, but had to buy 2 more to keep it closed. Not as strong as I needed. Other than that, like it.
