The hot lather sysem is the best. It gets shaving gel hot fast. Have not the tried the lather, but I am sure it does the same. I like it so much I'm getting one for my son..

I've had a few of these contraptions, first with the heated lather machines and now with this one. I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and loved it. It is a little hard to 'hook up' but it does work very well. I get very close shaves (I use the Mach 3 turbo) and have been more than satisfied with this unit. Mine broke, the spout came off as I was dispensing, but I was able to put it together again and push on. It is time to replace my unit after a few years but I will do so because it is a very comfortable shave!

I do not write many reviews, I bought this for myself because I though it may make a good christmass present for friends. The previous Conair products I have have been fine but they missed the mark with this one. The lather come out luke warm at best. And if turned up to highest setting you just get warm mush. If you are limited on space the canister is bulky, it's too bad as this could have been a great gift for the price. I will see about returning to wal mart or just throwing in the trash.

Conair Hot Lather Heating System is very impressive ,the way it heats both gel and lather . The lather comes out hot and creamy. It softens your beard in mere seconds.

Compleat waste of money. Does not heat up enough and after 1 can of use I could not stop it from leaking all over the nozzle. I also tossed mine in to the trash.
