Applegate Organics Sweet Chicken & Apple Sausage, 12 oz

My doctor at the Cleveland Clinic put me on a very strict elimination diet. I could hardly eat anything! When I saw product on their food list, I thought that I would give it a try. It was so delicious! I just wish more stores would carry it so that I didn't have to make the 50 minute drive to Whole Foods to get it. Thanks for a great product! (If only you could cut out some of the sodium.)

The sausage is very tasty. I've been cutting one up in my eggs/egg whites in the morning for extra protein or just heating them up and eating with mustard plain. However, what brings me here . Five minutes ago was the second time this week I've nearly broke a tooth from biting into what seems to be bone. I was going to let the first one slide as it was the size of a BB. Today's adventure was much larger. I might have to rethink my next purchase.. Not cool.

I have eaten these sausages about 5 times a week for breakfast over the past couple years. They used to be so delicious! About 3-6 months ago some of the packages had mediocre product. And now the last two packages are just awful. Quite a shame to ruin a good product.

A staple in my Whole 30 meal prep and will continue to be long after! My husband and children love it too! So yummy!!!

Love the chicken and apple sausage! So versitile, goes in a lot of recipes. Goes great with sauerkraut!
