BackTrack 36-0050 Portable Navigator

Took several hikes to new areas. Always returned me back to line of sight of my vehicle.

I purchased the backtrack to help me find my truck after a couple of hours walking in the woods. The woods I hunt aren't mountains, but they are full of gully after gully and you can get turned sround there really quick. I have a GPS from another manufacturer ,but it si too complicated when all I need is a way back to my truck. The Backtrack performs this task quickly and easily, only 2 buttons to contend with. the compass feature is nice also.

Used my Backtrack to help "cut" out horse trails. Worked like a charm. I also have a Garmin H I used, but the Backtrack was valuable in telling me with the arrow exactly which direction and how far to go.

I bought the Backtrack because I wanted a simple GPS to direct me back to a point with minimal input. The Bushnell Backtrack meets my needs very well. I own another GPS but find it overly complicated for most of my needs such as finding my way back to my car or camp. For that purpose it is ideal. For my use simple is better.

While this product is not the most accurate available, for the price and size it will get you back to your starting point (although it may include a few short detours along the way). It can be worn around your neck and hidden in your shirt until you are ready to use it. Then mearly turn it back on and it will take you back to your pre set starting point. What could be simpler than that.
