KidKraft Pink Vintage Wooden Play Kitchen with Pretend Ice Maker and Play Phone

My daughter LOVES her kitchen. As I watch her playing with it, I can see the learning that is happening. The only thing I do not like about it is there is nothing that prevents the fridge and oven doors from opening too far, otherwise a great product at a wonderful price. The reason I chose kid Kraft for this purchase was the amazing customer service I received when I was looking for replacement accessories for a very well loved outdoor playhouse that was gifted to my daughter.

It would have been a 5 star but I was a little disappointed that they did not put a backsplash or anything to support and cover that area of the kitchen…my son will make one so it will not only be a better support, it will look finished. It looks like something is missing.

As other reviewers have said, it takes a long time to assemble. 3 hours for 2 of us working together. I would say we are fairly experienced (have assembled real kitchens). I was however surprised at how small this is. Our granddaughter is 18 months old, and small for her age. It fits her just fine, but is certainly too small for a 4 yr old.

The price for the kitchen set was great!!!! My daughter wanted a red kitchen but when she laid her eyes on the pink set she forgot all about the red set. She didn't care just as long as her kitchen had a sink and doors. My daughter is 3 and this set gets more attention then any other toy, doll or game in the house. Her brothers had a time putting it together but they pulled it off and surprised her. The only thing I see that might be an issue is her height (I have a very tall) 3yr old that is way taller than this set. So may have to go up a price for the taller sets next year.

I am someone that is familiar with working with tools and it took me 4.5 hours to assemble this kitchen. There are a lot of pieces and absolutely nothing is assembled. Also no worded instructions were included just some vague pictures. It looks nice when you're finally done. Good luck!!
