I've tried a few carb blockers and this one does seem to do as it should. When I take it prior to a carb filled meal, I need to 'process' that meal within the hour. In using a variety of mct oil supplements, we have found that there is often a problem of contamination. One of our dogs is highly allergic, to what feels like everything, and he does much better on this supplement than on any other mct oil pill. Now, a pure oil in a jar is easier to find, but harder to use, with him, so, as to pills, this is the best I have found and I recommend it highly.
