Hello Hobby Cardstock Stencil Set, 3.5" x 4.5", 48 Piece, Wedding Day

These stencils are large enough to work for needle crafts. As an experiment, after tracing stencil onto cotton muslin I filled in with red crayon. Then I placed the fabric between 2 pieces of silcone parchment paper and pressed with iron on cotton setting for 30 seconds and let it cool before moving. Then I outlined the large 5 with 3 strand blue embroidery floss. The stencil is great! My color choice needs improvement;-)

This is a nice concept, the letters and designs are neat and these could be used for multiple things, from craft stuff to literally adding words or designs on your walls or furniture with paint. The good thing is there are multiples of the designs so it isn't just one card for each and there is nice large letters, numbers, punctuation, and some designs. However, the card stock to me is not stiff enough, it is hard to get the design done easily, you have to be very careful and work slowly, it really needs to be a stiffer card stock or cardboard, this card stock is not very thick and it bends very easily and you really have to hold it down with a lot of pressure to not get the lines going under the card or the card shifting on you or bending. I recommend only if you are patient, but I would prefer the card stock to be stiffer so that it would be easier to work with. I added a pic holding the card to you can sort of tell the thickness. The letters look really nice when you get them done, the numbers are also shaped nicely.

I received the hello hobby ,and got inspired to initial everything my mailbox, the door Mr and Mrs im using them to label difference bends identify (what belong in each bend and that just a few things I found useful with my hello hobby I'm looking forward to decorating and lot more fun projects

Hello Hobby Cardstock Stencils come with 48 sheets. The stencils are 2" in size .The are 2 cardstock stencils for each of the letters A through Z stencils , 2 cardstock stencils for numbers 1 through 8 , there are 2 cardstock for a heart & star symbol .and 2 cardstock for each of these @,&,!,?,*,0,$," ",and;. These cardstocks can be reusable as long as you remove stencil before paint dries and , Let paint dry on stencil .Then use again and again .I would recommend these stencils to any crafter

The script is lovely and perfect for stenciling a monogram on table number cards I made for a party. I am concerned about the card stock separating from continued use of water based paints but for this project it worked well. I was careful not to use a brushing technique in favor of a dabbing one so the cut edges don't curl and separate.
