Frontside has peel off protective plastic coating. 5005 aluminum alloy is a medium strength alloy, with both good weldability, and good corrosion resistance in marine atmospheres. The anodized finish adds a layer of protection to the surface of the sheet giving it a slick surface that is resistant to corrosion and atmospheric conditions. Commonly used in architectural and cosmetic applications.
