Handle-it Bag Clip and Funnel for Bird Seed, Grass Seed, Pet Food Storage 40 lb Capacity, Blue

This is a handy little contraption. It could be useful for many things. I tried to use it for dog food, and it was OK, but did not support the weight of the bag as well as I would like. I am going to try it for my garden fertilizer, and I think it would definitely work for bird food but I have none, so I will find another use.

This carrying handle is a neat invention. You clip any bag you want to pour contents out of. It is easy to clip onto the bag and makes carrying a heavy bag a breeze. It works great to pour pet food in bowls and it works well for filling up bird feeders. I like the fact you do not have to worry if the bag falls over, because the clip keeps it from spilling!

What a great help these clips are. These work well for any of us that could use assistance when handling heavy sacks of whatever it may be. I feed wild birds and many times I purchase seed in 40 lb. bags. Lots of those come with no handles on the bags. UGH. These clips help so much. They are large and strong with the funnel built in. Great product!

I like the idea of this product but it isn’t as easy as it seems. It’s somewhat of a challenge to slide the bag into. It clips easily with the two latches. The problem I had was when the bag is heavy or full, the bag wants to slip out of place and expose the funnel. My husband purchases 20 lb. bags of bird seed at a time which is pretty heavy to lift and this product holds the weight well and makes it easier to pour. I do wish the spout was a little larger. This bag clip can also be used for dry dog food, lawn fertilizer, bird seed or anything else that you would want to carry & pour.

This is such a great idea and a great way to carry and pour the big 20 pound bags of birdseed. With the handle properly attached to your birdseed bag, or I guess you could use it on just above any large bag, it’s easy to carry around and this makes it very use to pour, in my case, birdseeds. The carry handle attaches very securely and doesn’t seem like it would be easy to come off without undoing the clips. The not so good about this handle is the instructions are almost no help at all. I couldn’t figure it out without going to the maker’s website to watch a video on how to attach the handle. For that reason, I think that it would be more frustrating to use this than it’s worth. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be happy with it but just initially getting it attached is a pain in the butt. The screw-on cap also is a big plus though. I haven’t used it long enough to see if it will keep the bugs out from unused birdseeds left in the bag for future use. If you decided to buy this, I would recommend going right to the makers website to see the video on how to attach it to a bag.
