Hotel California Birdhouse

Fabulous Hotel California is now available as the third in our line of Purple Martin Bird Houses. This ten room, fully functional Bird House is inspired by the main pavilion of the iconic Del Coronado Hotel. A San Diego landmark, the Del has welcomed Presidents, royalty and Hollywood celebrities for over 100 years. Our dramatic Victorian design with its signature red roof and peek-a-boo dormers is topped off with a cupola proudly flying an American flag. This house comes equipped with a mounting base with a sleeve for setting on top of a standard 4 x 4 base. In order to attract Purple Martins, the recommended location of this house should be a combination of open fields and water. The house should be 12 to 14 feet high. To clean, remove the 5 brass screws from the bottom.
