junk.. did not work out of the box, would give it zero stars of possible, only powers up for 5 seconds and then it shuts off. would return it of only nefew hadnt destroyed the box trying to get into it. was the only thing he wanted for chrismas, and boy was he disapointed when it didnt work. dont spend your money of this..

Didn't hold charge and wouldn't work. Took back and got refund. Disappointed young man. Great Christmas gift but bad experience.

Two years of flight school and you still wouldnt be able to fly this thing!

The reviews are truthful. Five minutes of play for 35-55 minutes of charge. Thankfully my kid doesn't mind the wait. Pictures? It shouldn't even be able to take pictures, they are horrible. Video isn't the best but my kid and I like the challenge of taking a good video. I never wanted to buy a RC Heli due to past experience with a no name brand, but this one has turned out to be pretty durable and easier to control. My kid likes it, I like it, it's good. The only thing is if your kid is not computer savvy it will require adult supervision.

The product was a bit pricey for the materials given the helicopter will not hover in place even after trimming it properly and mastering it's flight characteristics. Which makes taking individual pictures very difficult and forget shooting a video. The only video you could shoot is a chase video. I can't imagine a 12-15year old coordinating all the flight buttons along with setting a picture up or video at the same time, yes you get a picture of what you intended on the 100th try. Bottom line fun to fly hard to take pictures& videos buy the basic model with a tail rotor, save 30$ trust me I have other brand heli's even nitro or gas powered heli's they are easier to manipulate and they all will hover. Air hogs constantly moves forward and overheats and is dead on 3-5 minutes max. By the way when it does overheat and needs a charge it doesn't gently run out it's off like a light switch. One last thing the reason for it not being able to hover is the weight in the front and lack of tail or a counter-weight in the back I think the other models with the powered tail do alot better.
