Sauder Sewing/Craft Cart, Cinnamon Cherry Finish

This is the perfect cabinet for my sewing machine. I needed something big and sturdy enough enough for my large sewing machine. This has enough room for my extension table and does not shake when I sew. The drop leaf table will be great when I am quilting a larger quilt. I really like that all my often used notions are right there on the door when I need them. Thank you for making such a quality cabinet.

The pieces did not line up. I asked for replacements. After providing photos of the misaligned parts, I received what I requested but there were additional alignment problems with other pieces, namely the door closure. I asked for a few magnets to add even though the directions didn't call for them. The Customer Service Rep requested photos. I didn't think it necessary because is magnets I wanted. This process was time consuming and when I would call no one knew what the previous Rep had told me. It was like ground hog day. I was finally transferred to a Manager and he did not want to send me the magnets unless I sent more photos. I filed a claim with my credit card company and only then did I receive the parts which ended up fixing the door issue. I ordered this piece in Oct and the issue/s were finally resolved in December. The hoops that I had to jump through were maddening and unnecessary. I run a business and while this mess was in my office I had to meet clients in other locations. BTW this is the second piece I have ordered and I had similar issues with the first purchase. Good luck if you order this Sewing Cart or any other piece from Sauder because the parts don't fit like they should, the customer service is lacking and the Manager could careless about causing imposition upon the customer.

When I ordered it, I did not realize it would arrive in a flat box and I would have to put it together. The instructions were fairly clear and even though getting up and down and crawling around on the floor is not easy for an 83 year old, I finished it in one day.

I love how sturdy this table is, also has tons of storage. It did come with knicks in the table top, that my husband did not notice until he was through! The minuses are the little notches to fit the expanding leaf, did not all line up. My major gripe is that in the instructions, after finishing it, it says to clean with your favorite furniture polish-I used Pledge Lemon scented. After an hour or so my table top looked awful!!! Dark and light patches all over! If I'd known it would do this I wouldn't have used the polish! Use at your own risk!

I'm not much one for assembling furniture, but my boyfriend and I put this together very easily. The instructions were easy to follow, all the parts were there, all the holes drilled in the right places, etc. We worked on it sporadically over a 2 day period and I didn't time it, but I'd guess we spent not much more than about 2.5 hours to assemble. This desk/table is surprisingly lightweight and easy to move around. It looks quite nice for the price. This will be used for my scrapbooking storage and projects. There is a lot of room to store smaller items, not so much for bigger items, although I did store my Cricut paper-cutter on the lower shelf. I am going to install some wall shelving above this desk in my craft room to complete my storage solutions. This desk is just the right size, since my craft room is also my office and guest bedroom, so there are a lot of other furniture items. Love the fold-up extension for extra work space. Would definitely recommend this item to a friend.
