Murphy Oil Soap 01031 Multi-Use Wood Cleaner With Orange Oil

I used to love this product for cleaning oiled teak furniture before applying a fresh treatment of Danish oil, but I've found that the latest bottle is more yellow than orange and has nowhere near the same efficacy for removing the old oil. I guess I'll resort to making my own cleaner with essential lemon oil and distilled water from now on. Don't bother with this product, it is no longer the same product that it's reputation was built on.

Purchased a 3-pack after reading rave reviews, but the product left a heavy, dull stickiness on all my kitchen cabinets. It seems the company has reformulated the original product and many ppl are disappointed by the this new formulation. I would not recommend or repurchase! :((

I have tried ordering this from 3 different places and they all sent Murphy's spray which was the yellow one even though I specified that I only wanted the clean and shine one. Why can't I find this anymore? I am now stuck with 6 bottles which I will not use.

The old formulation (bright orange fluid with orange spray top) was amazing. As a professional housekeeper, it was a staple and every single one of my clients LOVED the results including the smell. Then it changed. It is NOT the same and anyone who has used both knows it. I read a response from the company to another review claiming it has not changed. That is an absolute lie! I implore the company to bring back what everyone loved. It was 5 stars. What we are left with now doesn't even deserve 1.

Been using this product for years and it worked like a charm. Had a little trouble finding it during COVID and then when I did it looked more yellow than organe, but I just thought a color change. I used it daily on our main dining table and at first I thought I must have used dirty towel as I the next day I noticed streaks. Tried it again with a clean towel and the same result, what did you do? What did you change in the formulation? Love this ( the old product) hoping it was only a glitch.
