Roaman's Women's Plus Size Petite Plus Size 3-Piece Allover Lace Duster Pant Set – Formal Wear

I ordered the petite, 5'3", the duster hit me at the ankle, definitely not proportioned as shown. Pants were too big and too long. Although I am returning, I feel my input will help others who are short. Lace is heavy, great for a fall or winter wedding. Shipping is excessive, and not refundable. Expensive for just a try-on. If you're 5'8", conservative, you'll love it.

Didn't like the under camisole. I bought a different one. Personal preference. I received a lot of compliments on the outfit. Wore it to my daughter's wedding with a navy fascinator and mother of pearl necklace. Pants are long and I'm 5'7". But I wore flats, I can't wear heels.

I love the duster part of this set. It is beautiful and actually heavy. The top and slacks on the other hand have never looked good after laundering according to the directions. I wear the duster with black slacks and either a deep teal top or a black top. I always get compliments when I wear it.

I bought this outfit for an upcoming formal event. I washed it per tag instructions and the front and a side seam frayed on the outer layer of the pants. I had only tried it on a few times to determine the length for hemming as I am 5'2". Since I had washed it and it was past the return window I had to sew up the frayed seams and am hoping for the best when I do wear it to the event. I do believe the blouse will cover my repair job. Thank goodness there are 2 layers of material on the pants. The inner layer is heavier and at least I won't be showing my undies if anymore fraying happens on the outer layer. The outer layer is a real thin polyester. I'm very pleased with the duster but for a short person it is about 6" off the ground. I almost gave this a 4 star rating because it is a very nice looking outfit and very comfortable but I chose the 3 star due to the workmanship on the seams of the thin outer layer of pants. A word to the wise don't wash prior to wearing, maybe just steam it.

The outfit was bigger than what I expected and I really had no choice but to accept it as it was for my granddaughter's wedding. I ordered another outfit from different company in the size I normally wear and it was WAY too small. Hence, I ordered from Roaman's. I just wish clothing outlets would be the same in sizes, it is too much of a hassle to buy and return product. :(
