Stride Rite Girls Big Kid Claire Mary Jane

I bought these shoes for my first grade daughter (Size 3 WIDE) because my daughter wears uniforms. We wasted a lot of time in stores, trying to find the right show... but they were all really uncomfortable. I remembered that Stride Rite always had great shoes for my wide-foot boys and those shoes lasted and re-sold well. Since I wanted quality I took the jump and bought the Claire Mary Janes (use Rakuten extension for $ back). My daughter LOVES them and wants to wear them everyday even on PE days LOL! I do recommend that you get shoe polish like (kiwi), so you can care for the leather properly. Los zapatos son de buena calidad, comodos, de cuero y si los venden aunque esten usados la gente va a pagar mas. No se les olvide cuidar del cuero con un limpiabotas (Kiwi- lo encuentras en Walmart cerca de los zapatos). Asi el zapato se mantiene bonito y el cuero dura mucho mas!

These shoes are very cute and my 5 year old said they are the most comfortable shoes she has ever owned. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the strap has threads constantly unraveling that I have to tidy up. It's not the end of the world but it's definitely been an annoyance since day 1.

I have been purchasing Stride Rite shoes for over 12 years, for both my son and daughter. I have purchased over 10 pairs of Mary Janes for my 8 year old daughter and these are by far the best ones I have ever purchased! My daughter has narrow feet so we have had issues with the leather cracking because of them being too big. We have had these for over a month and they are holding up great.

I’ve bought this pair of shoes two or three times now. They look nice with dress clothes and come in a wide, which is a must have for my daughter. The only problem that we had was that the first few times that my daughter wore them, she they rubbed and hurt the back of her foot. So she wore a band aid on it for a little while. Once they got broken in though, we haven’t had any more problems. I love stride rite.

I was very excited as I was replacing them with a pair of Mary Janes stride rites I had bought which seems to be too small and was uncomfortable for her that first week. These were no different, my expectations for this brand was it was catered to those with feet issues giving them comfort. My daughter has a wide foot and even the extra wide was very narrow. I ended up buying her sketchers T straps that she loved immediately and were comfortable. The stride Rites the teacher kept them off her feet until it was time to go outside.
