Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow Singles

I am giving this a poor rating based solely on the color Made for Mocha as this is the only color I am currently having an issue with. I have used your eye shadows for so many years and my every day must have color is Made for Mocha! The last two that I had purchased are not the same color as always. The color is now extremely darker than it had always been, and for some reason it's also not as easy to apply. I have to throw them away because no matter what I try to do (blend, change applicators, etc.) my eyes look awful! Why the change?

I used Earthy Taupe for years and it was perfect, absolutely perfect, from the shade to the matte finish. I am so sad that it's no longer available and I cannot find any suitable replacement from any brand. They're all too light or too shimmery. Please, please bring back Earthy Taupe. I'm begging.

Giving one star, because you stopped making this! This was a great, basic color! Maybelline has very limited Matte colors available, and as a nurse, I can't be wearing 'Disco' drama to work, and I'm certainly not changing up, after being on my feet all day, if I'm meeting the friends! Actually, I started using this as a replacement for another color Maybelline discontinued, that I loved, and was perfect for blue eyes; it was a matte, taupey-grey, color, with a slight purple tint. What a total disappointment to discontinue this, too! ...and, NO, I don't want to get a palette that contains a wee bit of some similar color, with a bunch I'll never, ever, wear!!! What a waste! Here's a clue: bring back some Expert Wear singles and Duos in some matte shades, and maybe you'll keep my business!

I am so upset to learn that Earthly Taupe has been discontinued. I have been looking everywhere for it. As others have stated, this color was perfect. I lost some of my eyebrows after cancer treatment and I now use Maybelline Expert Wear Eye & Brow pencil to pencil on my brows and the earthy taupe over the pencil to soften the look. It was the perfect shade. I cannot find anything that compares with it. Please Please Please bring it back. Us “mature” users have a hard enough time finding makeup that works for our age.

Where is my Earthy Taupe??? I've been searching for Earthy Taupe in store and finally brought my search to the internet. My fears were proven right by seeing all of the posts here about Earthy Taupe. Seriously, it is my every day eye shadow. Just a hint of color, none of the stupid "sparkly" that comes with so many of your shades. I've been a loyal customer, but if I find another brand with a color close to Earthy Taupe, they'll have my loyalty. I'm very disheartened.
