Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quads, Electric Blue

This was always my favorite, but now they don't include an applicator?? How are we supposed to use the product without a way to apply it. It was always included before. Rethinking my options now sadly.

I was excited to finally try this eyeshadow but when I opened it, there was no applicator! :-( So I'll have to figure out something because applicators are apparently hard to find these days.

Love, love, love the Mocha Motion pallette! Come back to it time after time. I, similar to others who have posted reviews, would like the colors to be sold separately. It seems your current business model does not include the separate sale of the pallet colors. I imagine there is a business reason related to the bottom line or profit margin. If you don't want to sell the quad pallet colors separately, please consider offering a duo with the MochaMotion lid and crease color. I always finish the lid and crease color first. It feels so wasteful to toss the rest, but I know the container is just going to sit in my draw because I'm never going to use the rest of the base and liner. I would give this product a five star rating for value if you sold the lid/crease as a separate duo or if you flipped the positions in the pallet to give more lid/crease and less base/liner. Unfortunately, to get the colors I want and use, I have to purchase the other two I don't use. It's a great product. Would like more of it, not less, but without having to buy something I've never going to use. From a sustainability perspective, it just doesn't make sense.

Like many others, I have been using these quads for years and love them. The new applicator (with the smaller side to use as a liner,) would be great if It was 2 separate "sticks" like it used to be. The new one is impossible to use without getting eyeshadow all over your fingers, and it also means that I can't avoid getting all the 4 colors mixed up on the applicator. (I have always used one side per color, so they never mix.). Love the shadow, hate the new applicator!

Similar to others who have provided the same feedback...I have been buying this product for over 20 years and have been really happy with the product. However, recently Maybelline has changed the packaging and is only providing one double sided applicator. The new tool is so tiny that I end up holding the sponge part on the opposite end. Therefore, my fingers get coated in eye shadow. Changing the packaging to no longer include two one sided applicators to a single double sided applicator was a poor decision from a customer perspective. As an alternative, I could use my finger, a Q-Tip or another applicator, but I shouldn't have to since the product is sold with an applicator for ease of use when on the go. Please go back to packaging two one sided applicators.
