Maybelline Master Prime Long-Lasting Eyeshadow Base, Prime + Matte

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about two months ago and I really didn't like it. when I apply it to my eye it is sticky and it really doesn't help with my eye shadow needs.

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING, AND THE ILLUMINATE COLOR IS SO SHINY AND PRETTY THAT YOU CAN WEAR IT ALONE FOR A FRESH LOOK. I SLEEP IN MY MAKEUP SOMETIMES (I KNOW, IT'S A BAD HABIT) AND AM AMAZED TO FIND THAT MY MAKEUP IS PERFECTLY INTACT WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING. YOU COULD LITERALLY WEAR IT FOR TWO DAYS STRAIGHT WITH THIS UNDERNEATH!! IF YOU'RE TRAVELING, THIS IS A MUST.

From the moment I applied the prime+smooth primer, I was amazed. Instead of irritating my super-sensitive eyes, as my previous primers did, it actually soothed my lids. I almost couldn't believe my eyes! Now, hours later, I still feel comfortable in my eye makeup. Maybe most women take eye comfort for granted, I do not. I so appreciate this marvelous, hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist tested, soothing primer. It seriously has changed my life.

Great product! Keeps eyeshadow on longer than I would ever expect it to. Sometimes, when I accidentally forget to wash my makeup off before bed, I look in the mirror and my eye makeup is perfectly intact. It prevents eyeshadow from creasing; I've forgotten that was even a problem that people have after I started using this, and I have extremely oily skin. Best eye primer I've ever used! The only downside to this product is that the wand is not long enough to reach the bottom of the container, so plenty of product can go wasted. However, a q-tip works great for reaching in there and getting every last bit of product out.

This works really well for me! My advice would be to use it sparingly, and blend it well. It has a pretty airy feeling, and lasts a long time without creasing.
